Since shifting into the finance industry, I don’t spend as much time keeping up with the latest technologies in physical manufacturing and prototyping, but this caught my eye. It’s a new approach to 3D printing from Carbon3D that can reportedly produce objects 25–100 times faster than other current technologies.
The things that were once only imaginable in science fiction are turning up with surprisingly regularity in real life. How long until we see the full blown Star Trek Replicator?
